Constructive criticism is welcome, since those points out areas you think I could improve/do better on. Don't be afraid to say what you think, I'm some-what Dense. This is an AU and because of that I can see her having some strange bits and pieces. She's stemmed from a dream of mine so I will be filling in blanks along the way!

Her killing you: while Ib isn't strong she's rash and good at quick thinking. She might try and kill you but there are ways around this so either they fight and no one dies or they fight and one of the pair dies. I'd like to talk it out first since death comes at a price. Feel free to message me here or PM me.

This AU is based off of the Forgotten Portrait ending of the game Ib. At the end Ib losses her memories of the horrors of the Gallery and goes off with her parents leaving her friend, Garry, dead within one of the paintings. In this ending Ib killed Marry by burning her portrait.

A few month's after the incident Ib's parents die in a car accident caused by a young blond haired girl running into the middle of the street. They swerve and their car crashes. Ib lives, having been in the back seat, but goes into a coma for a year. As she sleeps... she dreams. She dreams of Garry and the horrors of the Gallery that she had all but forgotten. As if fate could be more cruel she was haunted by the death she had caused. The one death she could never forgive herself for; Garry.

When she awakes from the coma her mind is all but twisted beyond recognition. She's 12 now and tossed into foster care which involves being bounced from home to home. She ends up with an old woman who lives in the middle of a broken down neighborhood, in a crowded city. The art gallery, where her nightmares started, only a few blocks away. The woman watching her isn't cruel but she's negligent. Ib learned to fend for herself in the middle of a city that was falling to ruin and through all this she's cursed to dream of the boy that she killed.

At age 14 the exhibition is back... Ib finds Garry's painting and steals it from the Gallery. She brings it to a broken building that had long since been abandoned. On it's back, scribbled in red paint is a phrase.

"Save Me"

As if her fears are alive, she watches the rose bush around Garry grow. Bit by bit his body is consumed and should she run out of time, he'd never been saved. She did as the painting commanded. She donned a mask that covered her face and picked up a sword in order to collect pieces to give to the painting. First was the bones of a child. Then a heart, eyes, tissue... everything to create him again... to save him. With her actions grew the mass murder known as Killer Rose. She wore a trench coat with a bright, blood, red rose on it. She used a samurai sword to slice her victims to pieces tossing the rest away like a useless doll.

She grows into a monster.

During the day Ib goes to high school though it's the sort of school where you know the students won't amount to much and only about 25% of the school will attend college. She is quiet at school and does well enough not to get noticed. By now she has learned to blend in with those around her. Her eyes show what horrors she's seen but only if you are close enough to look.

Ib always wears the same uniform. A short, perhaps too short, red skirt and a white button down with a red tie. She has long legs and has grown into a beautiful adult with dark brown hair that falls well pass her waist. She is a murderer and has no remorse in the lives she has taken thinking only of one.

Once all the pieces of the puzzle were collected and absorbed into the painting; Garry emerges from its hold. Except he had no soul. The real Garry was dead and the figure with Ib only served to corrupt what innocence the girl had left. When she turned 18 she finished high school and then disappeared from society. She works at a club selling drinks. The club is a Gothic club with broken masks adorning the wall and loud heavy music. Garry works there as well though the boy without a soul can't do anything with feeling.

The painting that the puppet Garry was once trapped in is buried beneath an abandoned building with words written it red across it's back.
